Short description of Tuvalu:
The countries that surround this country are Fiji, Samoa and Kiribati. As it has about 11,992 living on its land, Tuvalu is considered to be the 3rd least populated independent nation in the world. It is also one of the smallest countries of the world. As the country is only fifteen feet above the sea level, it is predicted that if the sea level rises higher in the future then the country may be submerged in to the sea.
Tuvalu does not have a dependable source of water supply for drinking and its soil is not suitable for the purpose of agriculture. Most of the people living in this country are Polynesians and there are also a small number of Micronesians. More than 90% of the population of Tuvalu is Christians and the remaining portion of the people follow indigenous religions.
The main language in the country is the Tuvaluan language, even though English is also considered to be an official language of the country.
